Hey there,

I fell in love with photography the moment I realized it was a license to go anywhere and talk to anyone. A camera around my neck gave me access — to people, to places, to moments I never would've seen otherwise.

I started out in photojournalism. Papers like the Albuquerque Journal, The Denver Post, and The Rocky Mountain News. It was the golden era of newspapers — back when the newsroom buzzed and the team I worked with had Pulitzers on the wall. It was fast. Raw. And I learned how to tell a story with a single frame.

Then I moved to New York City.

Shot for places like The Village Voice. Assisted top-tier advertising shooters. That’s where I saw what really makes great work happen: collaboration. The way a strong team — producer, DP, stylist, client — all lock in and push something across the finish line. I’ve carried that with me ever since.

These days, I shoot for clients like T:Magazine, The New York Times, Facebook, Chase, Google, and Cadillac. What do they have in common? They all wanted images that feel real. That move people. That actually work.

And not just stills — I move between motion and stills seamlessly. Because let’s be honest: the modern creative landscape doesn’t care what camera you used. It wants versatility. It wants consistency. It wants assets that play everywhere from a giant LED wall to a tiny phone screen — and still feel like they belong to the same story.

That’s what I deliver.

I don’t show up just to press the shutter. I show up with a plan, a point of view, and a great team behind me — including my longtime producer Elle Sullivan, who helps make the logistics smooth as hell from the first estimate to the final delivery.

Yes, I’m technical. But I don’t let the tech get in the way of the shot. What matters most to me is emotion. Story. Images that feel.

Off set, I’m usually with the fam — on a ski trip upstate, wandering through NYC’s museums, or on the field playing with my local soccer league. I’m also often flipping through stacks at used bookstores, hunting for rare photo books. And, of course, hanging out with my wife and 8-year-old daughter, who constantly reminds me to see the world with curiosity, awe, and joy. That perspective shows up in my work.

I’ve also been making short videos on Instagram — quick reels aimed at creative directors and art buyers. They’re about where the industry’s going, how we work with images now, and how to make better, smarter creative in a faster, weirder world.

If you’re looking for a collaborator — not just a photographer — let’s talk.
