Thanks so much for being in touch about the Legend Senior Living shoot.
I loved reading through the creative brief, because it’s clear that what matters most is front and center: those small, human moments of connection and joy that make life feel rich with meaning.
Framing the Project
Throughout this treatment you’ll see examples of my own work that align with the creative vision for this campaign. The goal is to show more than just faces—it’s to capture the ease of lifestyle, the individuality of the people who live here, and the sense of place that anchors the story. These are moments caught in real time: a neighborly laugh, the comfort of knowing things are taken care of, the surprise of joy in everyday life. The architecture and neighborhood provide the backdrop, but the true story is dignity, belonging, and the richness of a life well lived—photography that feels authentic and elevated, resonating as real while carrying the polish of a brand campaign.
What I Bring to This Project
What makes this project especially exciting is how it sits at the intersection of so many areas I’ve worked in. From lifestyle campaigns for brands like Google and Bose, to healthcare work with agencies such as FCB Health and Omnicom, to real estate branding for groups like Pandiscio and K. Hovnanian, and even editorial assignments for publications like The New York Times Magazine—each of these experiences feeds directly into what this shoot calls for.
Together, they’ve taught me how to balance the polish and clarity of commercial campaigns with the authenticity and nuance of editorial storytelling. They’ve also given me a deep appreciation for the sensitivities of healthcare and the role of place in real estate—both of which feel directly relevant here.
How I work
For me, lightheartedness and comfort on set are essential. When subjects feel at ease, they have the space to express themselves naturally—and that’s when the real emotions surface. It starts well before shoot day, with the connection built during casting and prep, and continues on set with the small things that make a big difference, even down to a curated playlist.
I also see myself as a creative collaborator. Having a strong creative call and connection before the shoot sets the tone—it ensures alignment and makes everything flow more smoothly once we’re on set. Clearly, from reading the creative deck, this is a thoughtful team that goes deep, and I’d look forward to the creative conversations leading up to the shoot.
It’s about showing not just where you live, but how life feels when you’re here.
Production Approach
I’m looking forward to talking more and shaping the production approach together. There are a few different ways we could go—leaning into a more editorial style with natural light and a nimble crew, or taking a more commercial approach with larger teams to cover more ground in less time. I’m open to finding the balance that best serves the creative and practical needs of the campaign, and I see that conversation as an important step toward success.
Thank You
Thanks again for considering me for this project. Reading the creative deck, I was struck by how much it emphasizes authenticity and connection—the same qualities I aim to capture in my work. I’d be honored to bring that approach here and collaborate with your team in telling this story with care and creativity. I look forward to continuing the conversation.
About Me
I studied journalism at the University of Colorado, and after graduating I moved to New York where I got started working as a photo assistant. Today I shoot for publications like the New York Times and brands like Cadillac, YouTube, Google, and Adidas.
I LIVE WITH MY WIFE AND eight-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IN the HUDSON VALLEY, NEW YORK. When I'm not hanging with the family I can be found scouring used book shops for the next addition to my photo book collection, or PLAYING SOCCER WITH THE LOCAL TEAM.
Thank you so much for considering my work for this project. I’m excited to speak more about the creative for this campaign!
