I’m an American photographer based in New York City.
I started my career as a photojournalist, and have always been interested in telling stories through pictures.
I shoot images for brands like GQ, Cosmopolitan, Garrett Leight, Surface Magazine, Brooks, Journelle, Google, Hyatt, Izze, Johnson & Johnson, Chase, Red Bull, Verizon and YouTube.
I love the collaborative nature of commercial photography. My goal with every shoot is to understand the viewpoint of a brand and it’s goals with the imagery, and to find a way to make compelling, beautiful, authentic pictures within that framework.
As I thought about images to pull for this portfolio, I looked more in depth into EFM. I love that the the clothes are confluence of luxury and technology. From a visual perspective, I think this offers some unique opportunities in terms of drawing inspiration from imagery in both the athletic, and the high end fashion worlds.
This is just an initial take on the potential for photography with EFM, and I'm looking forward to learning more about the brand and your goals for the shoot.
